We’ve talked about the illogic of the locksdowns and business closures.
We’ve talked about the absurd Science 101 mistakes made by news media “experts” to justify the unjustifiable.
Now after hearing the testimony of Pennsylvania bureaucrats under oath – with lying being punishable under penalty of perjury – a federal judge has struck the whole thing down as “capricious and arbitrary” – and, most important, illegal.
You were not crazy. The world was crazy. Mentally lazy and heartless too.
You can, and should, listen to the entire analysis here. We only excerpted a fraction of the insanity described.
So what do we do now?
Folks with well run direct response oriented businesses are doing fine. In fact, some are doing spectacularly.
I’ve been teaching the direct response method of doing business for the last 30 years and have generated many, many hundreds of hours of “how to” on this subject, the best of which is available on tap for members of the System Club.
People who followed the principles laid out in the Independence Day Blueprint (available on Amazon) should be doing well too.
But there’s more to this
Currently, I’m working with the largest non-profit social services agency in the region where I live – food, housing, and other essential things – to help them “up” their fundraising game as we head into what will surely be the biggest tidal wave of material misery this country has seen since the Great Depression.
I’d like to encourage readers to keep their eyes open for genuine grass roots groups where you live that are engineered to actually help people (vs. make jobs for bureaucrats.)
If there’s interest, I’ll share what I’m doing to help this group and you may be able to apply some of the lessons locally.
Fundraising is just another facet of marketing and anyone who can sell via direct response can be a first class fundraiser too. The skills are, for all practical purposes, identical and very few of the many worthy groups out there have even the first clue how to do it with maximum effectiveness.

P.S. For over 25 years I’ve been sharing the simple but powerful things that matter in business – and life – with my clients.
If you’d like direction for your business that will work today, tomorrow, and twenty years from now, make sure you have your own copy of The System Club Letters book.
