Twenty six years and counting – so far so good

I was on the phone today with an up and coming Internet marketer talking about the power of live events.

You know, those things where people come together in large numbers to meet and share ideas and go home informed and inspired?

While we were on the subject, I realized that today is the 26th anniversary of the first conference ever devoted exclusively to the question: “Can the web be commercialized – and if so, how?”

By the way, at the time of this recording…

  • 99% of business owners
  • 95% of direct response people
  • 80% of software industry people and
  • 50% of San Francisco’s cutting-edge “digerati”

…who I told about this event told me they couldn’t imagine why they should be interested.

They didn’t see it, but you and I did…

…And that’s made made all the difference.
