Post-Father’s Day Thoughts

I received this simple but brilliant idea from long-time System Club member Cindy Kappler.

“My father passed away last year. Several years earlier, as an 80th birthday present, my four sisters and I (with the help of the brothers-in-law and 14 grandchildren) created a book for our dad that put in writing the many things he’d taught us over the years. I am so thankful we preserved these stories and lessons for generations to come.”

Two things:

1. Obviously, do one for Mom too!

2. Do it.

How much time do we spend writing sales letters, ads, special reports, books, and who knows what else?

At the end of the day, these things matter. But capturing the wisdom of the older generation (if your family is lucky enough to have had some) and expressing your gratitude for the same is going to prove to be exponentially more valuable and certainly more lasting.

P.S. For over 25 years I’ve been sharing the simple but powerful things that matter in business – and life – with my clients.

If you’d like direction for your business that will work today, tomorrow, and twenty years from now, make sure you have your own copy of The System Club Letters book.
