A night to remember

Win, lose, or draw I wanted to be with my friends in New Orleans and this was what it was like last week.

Shot with my Flip camera and edited by my friend Matt Lipscomb with big assists from Steve Goyette, Steve O’Keefe, and Chuck Perkins.

    Hey Ken,

What’s your connection to New Orleans?

I’m from there, and I went down there for the Super Bowl to be with my family as wse made history.

    Hi Dan,

I spend my winters in New Orleans, usually from when Carnival season starts to the end of Jazz Fest.

I’m on the Levees.org Board of Advisors.

I also make promotional videos for New Orleans musicians and non-profits pro bono. The video I made for levees.org is on their home page.

I work with some local musicians to help them market themselves to venues outside the city. We were actually working today on hooking someone up with the Montreal Jazz Festival. Last fall, I organized a mini-tour from poet Chuck Perkins in the UK .

    Ken,

You Dat! Thanks for showing the world what we do best here: celebrate!

It’s been 10 days that shook Bourbon Street between Super Bowl and Fat Tuesday.

I can honestly say I’m glad to be back to work!
