Margaret Gould Stewart: Design for the interactive digital globally networked age

Margaret Gould Stewart is director of product design at Facebook, Inc.

Before Facebook, Stewart spent three years as head of user experience for YouTube and two years leading search and consumer products user experience at Google.

A graduate of NYU’s Interactive Telecommunications Program (1995), she helped The New York Times, Time Warner and Scholastic develop their early web presences. She was also part of the startup of Tripod.com, one of the first services that made it easy for people create their own web presences.

She also happens to be my cousin.
