In 1995, Ken McCarthy, founder of Amacord,
published the first book in Japan written
specifically for the Japanese market on the subject of doing business
on the Internet. |

In 1996, NEC invited Amacord to provide weekly commentary
for the Cyber Plaza USA section of
its new online service BIGLOBE.
BIGLOBE is a consolidation of the NEC-owned online services,
PC-VAN, Mesh, and Cyber Plaza which together have nearly 2,000,000
online members. |
