You have probably the most sincere blog of all the business and internet marketing blogs I read (and that’s a lot of blogs!). The way you have tied in topics to current events is one of a blogger’s tools of success.

I love football but have never been a Saints fan and wasn’t jumping on the bandwagon just because everybody else was. I was, however, exceptionally happy for the people of New Orleans. Pride in a city and its sports teams has an amazing effect on people’s spirits. Here’s hoping that the good feelings generated by the Saints Super Bowl win translate into progress and success for those negatively affected by Hurricane Katrina.

Keep up the good work, Ken. You are a tremendous inspiration.

Business development turns out to be self development and now that I’ve been at it for a while, I’m convinced that the biggest challenge any of us ever face is dealing with ourselves, NOT the things that happen “out there.”

It is that “take no prisoners” attitude that wins in the end. My wife just asked me if what I am working on is worth it, and I told her “You betcha!”

One of the things that makes me work ever harder, is when i am told “you can’t do it”; despised, all all that stuff.

Guess what?

I channel all of that into whatever I am doing, seek every help I can seek(read as much) and I know with prayer, patience, perseverance, i will finish strong also like the NO Saints!

That said, I will tell you that I’m a sucker for heroes who fight against impossible odds and win and that, today, describes New Orleanians.

This is New Orleans’ glorious moment in the sun. Not quite five years after the catastrophe of Katrina, the city is back and rocking out!

Between now and Mardi Gras Day on Feb. 16, the region will be riding a high seldom seen in decades past.

Let the good times roll, dahlin’!

My wife has spent some time in the relief efforts in Haiti, and the same bulldoze and rebuild questions are arising… the people who have some small but semi functional roots left, they own whats left of the city and their dreams to rebuild from those anchor points is more valuable than an abtract ‘clean slate’ offered by bulldozer approaches. Good on you Ken for keeping some human interest going in the discussions of wider discusssions of personal development
