Ken,

I read your email today about New Orleans and thought, "Wow maybe this super-successful marketing guru isn't the typical right-wing, pro-business at the exclusion of anything else, Bush43 Republican ... "

I then read through your "human rights and justice" posts and discovered that you are man of compassion and conviction who isn't afraid to stand up for what is right.

Bravo!

First, there were WMD in IRAQ, but as one other commenter stated they were moved to another location. One of Huesseins own high officials (sadas) came out with this information and has published a book on it.

The Islam religion IS NOT a religion of peace, but of WAR! Read the Koran to find out the truth - not what proponents of Islam are saying. You can start with this link:

http://www.chick.com/reading/tracts/0042/0042_01.asp

Ken - As we all know when a nation goes to war there are casualties. No! We don't rejoice with those whom we've lost and have given their lives for ALL of our freedom, but we weep with their families. As we approach Independence Day - let's remember ALL of the men and women who have given themselves for the freedoms we have today.

Also Ken, since you have put some numbers up of how many people have died in Iraq, here's some numbers of how many people die on our highways YEARLY: Average is 16,000. These are just the alcohol related fatalities.

Why isn't anyone speaking out on the effects of alcohol and those whom have died from drunk drivers?

As a side-note and a response to Mark above concerning his comment on "Christians and Catholics" - they are not the same, so please don't associate Catholics with Christians.

The Catholic religion DOES NOT worship the God of the Bible. Of course, neither does Islam, Buddhists, Jehovah Witnesses, Mormons, etc. But the Catholic religion is the one that gets compared to Christianity and it shouldn't.

God bless you, Ken. You may have lost one half of your list, but George Washington and Patrick Henry are not remembered because they were such great businessmen.

Your contribution has earned you enough criticism and slander on this list. I hope that those who see things differently remember your words when those things happen which you forsee.

I, for one, respect you more than ever for standing up for what you believe.

Ken,
Never mix business with politics. With the 50/50 split in this country you probably lost one-half of your list.
I liked it better when I didn't know your politics.

Remeber Ken's words above on the state protecting the state. It's the key to understanding everything else that goes on in governmental relations, both domestically and internationally.

As for WMD, they were there, they were moved to another country, probably Syria. Read George Sadas book (Google him), he was in Saddam's cabinet.

Mark is right, Saddam was basically put in power by the US. Also, surprise! Bin Laden, to the best of my knowledge was a creation of the Carter administration.

I sit here and wonder why things occur, when we supposedly have the best intelligence, the best military, etc. in the world. It's because many times, they are ALLOWED to occur. We could have had him (OBL) numerous times. He has never been officially charged as a perp on 9/11. He supposedly is sick, needing some sort of kidney treatment and is hiding in a cave. The "best intelligence,
the best military" can't seem to find him. Ask yourself, "where are they plugging
the dialysis machine into IN A CAVE..."

Alex Jones site (www.prisonplanet.tv)has a great article recently about how the US flew Bin Laden's family out of the US after 9/11,
essentially providing protection. No speculation, this has been now confirmed by FBI.

Ever see the movie "The Falcon & The Snowman" with Tim Hutton and Sean Penn?
Hutton's character says, "I had no idea of the extent of the lie, the level of deception."

My two cents: They are letting it happen (lack of attention to things like open borders, immigration, etc.) because they are letting it happen. In the grand scheme of things, it's being allowed so some other event (another 9/11?) can occur thus setting up the masses for more gov't control over the people. The evidence is out there in public (use Google and all the other research tools we as marketer's claim to be experts at). It's a "Hide in Plan Sight" type of thing.

Bottom line is there are many "on the take" and they KNOW what is going to happen, perhaps even advocating and facilitating.

Goal: The trashing of the constitution, establishing the NAU (Noth American Union - US, Canada + Mexico) and silencing the "voice crying in the wilderness".

When you let the morals of a country get turned upside done, you ultimately
get chaos and turmoil, people who are lawless and the gov't stepping in
creating a police state. The one who comes out on top is the one who is strongest.

The CFR (Council on Foreign Relations), UN etc. who know how to play this game have become the strong ones because they see people as little ants ready for the squashing. Sadly, too many people comply because they don't think critically anymore, preferring to sit in front of the idiot box and agree with everything the media dishes out.

Time to wake up...

"The state protects the state, not the people."

Eight words that sum up the whole problem in a nutshell.

It's entirely up to us to look ater ourselves and that includes controlling the government, not letting it control us. Thanks.

It's good to know that there are some people in the states who choose to view their governments actions with through a clear lens. You can;t ahve a democracy without equal representation of all points of view. And you have to remember that the media are controlled by the same kind of people who are in power. They're 'on message' and side with those who hold the reins of power.

It's the same here in the UK. The media are pretty much controlled by the 'establishment'. And yes, even, if not especially the BBC.

Any state protects the state, not the people. Always has been that way, and always will until people learn to educate themselves to find ALL the information out there. Peace requires sustained goodwil to all men.

Some facts:

1. Scott Ritter was a Captain in the US Marine Corps.

2. He was the ballistic weapons advisor to General Norman Schwarzkopf during the first Gulf War.

3. He worked with Israeli forces to identify and disable Iraqi SCUD missile systems that threatened that country.

4. At the request of his superiors, he became a leader of the UN weapons inspection team searching Iraq for weapons of mass destruction.

5. He was and remains one of the world's leading authorities on weapons systems and weapons capabilities among Middle Eastern countries.

6. In the face of overwhelming pressure, he stuck to his guns and repeatedly and publicly asserted that pre-US invasion, Iraq did not possess weapons of mass destruction. He was proven correct.

To those who slander Mr. Ritter I ask:

What part of the Iraqi War is it that you think is so good for our nation?

Is it the $500 BILLION spent on a war we were told was going to "pay for itself?"

Is it that fact that the invasion has exponentially increased the number of terrorists and terrorist supporters in the world?

Or is it the 3,555 US troops killed and the 50,000+ seriously wounded (as of today)?

When the facts are as readily available as they are today, willful ignorance and idiocy are no longer an acceptable defense for treason.

Show some respect for the troops. Show some respect for the Constitution and the rule of law. Show some respect for yourself and stop uncritically parroting the drivel on your TV set.

Mark, you certainly are correct in the fact that a lot of barbaric actions were/are committed in the name of "religion" and certainly the fanatical factions of any are intolerant. No argument from me.

However, currently the most intolerant and barbaric are the muslims. You only need to look at the genocide that goes on in parts of Africa at this very moment and as muslims expand their influence will get worse all over the world.

You write "The so called “Islamic” terrorists are nothing more than poor people who are disenfranchised, have absolutely nothing to lose and therefore easily manipulated and brainwashed by others for their own evil purposes."
I think you phrased that very poorly because those who are "using" the disinfranchised are the real terrorists and that includes immams, political and other leaders who use their religion to perpetuate their reign of terror.

That is not to say that non muslim "leaders" of various type are not also doing very similar all over the world.

I feel very strongly, though, that while "Waging Peace" sounds oh so "nice" and simplistic,it will never come about as long as there are powerful leaders who rather see people enslaved than to see them free. And yes, I'm talking of religious, political and industrial leaders on ALL isles of the "theatre".
